"In Rhythm" tells the story of a 20-year-old girl, Dolphins Lamar, who is torn between her dream of being a dancer and a dream for her parents to become a doctor. Since childhood, Dolphin never really listened to the opinion of her parents. Until now, she just drifted with the flow. But when she meets an amazing dancer, Mark Penshaw, her dream is gaining new life, because the presence of such an excellent partner opens up new opportunities. Without consulting with her parents, she decides to go to a part-time school in order to spend more time on dancing. Her grandmother, the closest person to her, encourages her to follow her heart, not the desires of her parents. Inspired by the advice of his grandmother and Mark, Dolphin again finds self-confidence and makes an important decision for his future. But this decision will affect her friendship and family life. Her choice - dance - poisons her already strained relationship with her mother. And the fact that her dancing partner, Mark, turns out to be the ex-boyfriend of her best friend, Julianne, puts an end to their friendship since childhood. Dolphin does everything possible to restore the spoiled relationship, but eventually understands that life can not always be as perfect as she would have wished.
